Our New Student Lounge at the Middle School!

One of the big projects that I worked on over the summer was creating a new student lounge for our middle school students. I was very excited to get started on this project! We decided to use some of our student council funds to help create a space in the media center that our students would enjoy. After searching on Pinterest for some cool new ideas for furniture, I spotted some pallet seating on a few boards that I fell in love with. Knowing how handy and creative my brother is, I went to him with my ideas. He ended up helping me put together some benches made out of pallets for our students. I added some cute cushions and pillows to make them a comfy spot for our students to lounge around on while studying. The rest of the lounge came together, and is now a quiet, relaxing space for our students to study in! I will add some student created art work as the school year progresses to make it a little more bright.
