This is a long overdue post! The middle school book fair was a success! We decided to go with a science theme for this years' book fair. Mrs. Wood and I had fun dressing up as "scientists" in our lab coats.
Book fair time is always a highlight of the year for our students. The middle school kids absolutely love when the fair arrives! This is such a fun way to celebrate and encourage reading in our school!
We had several businesses who supported our book fair this year. With the donations we received from these local businesses, we were able to purchase 127 books for students and classrooms at the middle school. A huge "thank you" goes out to the following businesses for your support: Red Oak Glass, Elarton Accounting, Dickel Duit Outdoor Power, Rubey Realty, Beauty Nook and Fantastic, Parker Norris, Red Oak Knights of Columbus, Subway, Dr. Michael Portz, John and Deb Blomstedt, Heartland Insurance, Mrs. Kerry Hohbach, Elks Lodge, and the employees of the YMCA.
